IT Ministry training #1 in România

Do you want to learn to teach technologies and the Word of God? This is a great opportunity for you. There will be 3 training sessions in 2019 in Romania, at our Bible study training center: one in February, one in July and the third one in October.

The purpose of these 3 trainings is to train christian Bible study leaders to teach 3 categories of christians: regular church members, pastors and missionaries.

At the training on February 4-15 pastor Vasile Filat will teach a course for church members. It means, those who will take the training will be able to teach christians in churches the following:

1. Fast typing(based on our program Scripta, which is based on typing the Gospel of Mark).
2. Google Apps
3. Social Networks and church
4. Mobile Photography and Videography
5. Internet Safety.
6. How to use Bible apps?
7. Evangelism using Messengers(Skype, Facebook, Hangouts)
8. How to promote your church online?
9. Christian ethics of using technologies.
10. Time management with Google Calendar.
11. How to use christian media resources?
12. Christian educational games.
13. How to create a crossword?

At this training the students will study 3 inductive Bible study courses: “How to study the Bible in 28 days “, “Being a disciple: counting the real cost” and “the Power of Knowing God”.

At the second training, in July, the students will study the second course, which will be designed for pastors and preachers and will contain the following topics:

1. How to use PowerPoint for sermons?
2. Mobile Photography and Filming
3. Making LIVE videos on Facebook.
4. How to manage your team using mobile devices?
5. How to use Bible apps for Bible study(concordance, bible dictionary etc)
6. How to use the tablet or iPad for preaching?
7. Time management with. Wunderlist.
8. Organizing the budget in Excel.
9. How to make a report?
10. How to manage the contact information of your church members?
11. Ethics of social networking for pastors.
12. How a pastor can lead the church to use the Internet and how to build the media team at church?

At this training the students will study ”Ignite your passion for God”, “Philippians” and “Rising to the call of Leadership”.

The third training is for missionaries, local and international, long-term and short-term missionaries. We’ll teach the following topics in this course:

1. PowerPoint
2. Mobile Photography and Filming.
3. Setting up your trip(ticket, hotel, schedule)
4. How to make a report about the trip?
5. Security of communication.
6. How to use social networks on the mission field?
7. Making a budget and a financial report in Excel.
8. Managing the activities with Wunderlist.
9. How to use technologies to get more people to groups/activities?
10. How to do the research of the mission field/area?

The Bible courses that we’ll study will be: “Heaven, hell and life after death”, “Being a disciple” and “Living Victoriously in difficult times”.In order to graduate this department in Romania, every student has to take these 3 training sessions and teach the courses in churches and christian organisations.

The program is for people, who work in the IT industry and for those who aren’t, but are able to learn fast and have the desire to teach technologies and the Word of God.

Every student has to cover his expenses for the trip and for accommodations at the Bible Study Training center.
